This site was designed specifically for members of Loudoun's Regiment who have an interest in engaging in wargaming activities on a smaller scale than the full-sized 1:1 reenactments they participate in while out in the field. It offers a space for those who enjoy strategic games and simulations that capture the essence of battle, but on a more manageable and intimate scale.
The old ScotWars web site was a non profit project created by Rab Taylor, who residing in Scotland felt back in the early 1990s the need to promote the role of Scotland during the British Civil Wars now correctly termed the War of the Three Kingdoms.
However sadly unable to continue to maintain the site in recent years and the fact that other sites have long since taken over the mantle - ScotWars is and has now taken on a new role and direction. The old site remains for those wishing to peruse it.
